Pitti Uomo 107 at the Fortezza Da Basso
The
annual date with men’s fashion returns from January 14 to 17 at the Fortezza Da
Basso with Pitti Uomo, the 107th edition, where the Fall/Winter 2025
collections of about 790 Italian and foreign brands will be presented.
The theme of this winter edition is FIRE, which represents the passion of
creative energy, the flame of innovation, the renewal after destruction. A
theme also reflected in the immersive installations in the Fortezza da Basso,
curated by Alessandro Moradei: a digital bonfire will be lit and its flames
will become lettering and videos, capturing the attention of visitors with
hypnotic images.
“Fire brings together and warms
bodies and souls, attracts attention and signals the direction, serves to play,
to amaze, to inspire, to merge old ideas and habits and to forge new ones. Just
like fashion does. We will make sparks, ignite desires, bring problems and
proposals into focus. As Pitti Uomo always does."

Agostino Poletto, general manager of Pitti Immagine
Five
sections are confirmed: Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude,
Superstyling and I Go Out, to which is added the new “Knees Up Running Space”,
a multifunctional space born from the encounter between fashion, sport
(running) and events, a place to meet, take courses and presentations dedicated
to the sports community.
Pitti
Uomo broadens its horizons by proposing new international collaborations: a
collaboration with KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency), a government agency
of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, will promote
Korean fashion, music and entertainment formats through an event that will be
held during the June 2025 edition of Pitti Uomo. Furthermore, with the new
collaboration with the Japan Fashion Week Organization, Pitti Immagine wants to
strengthen its promotional activities aimed at the Japanese men's fashion
system.
That’s
why this year one of the main guest designers will be the Japanese Satoshi Kuwata, winner of the CNMI
Fashion Trust Grant 2023 and the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designer 2023,
who will show us his brilliant sartorial minimalism with his first show of the Setchu brand in Florence.
Another
exceptional guest will be the avant-garde brand MM6 Maison Margiela which will present a men's collection created
especially for the occasion, inside the spectacular Tepidarium Giacomo Roster
at the Giardino dell’Orticoltura.
Pitti
Uomo will be followed by Pitti Bimbo (22-23 January), Pitti Filati (28-30
January) and Pitti Taste (8-10 February).
